Forge Evo 9 Wastegate Acutator!!!! Awsome!!!!!!!!!

honestly i was alittle sceptical about the product, i have seen several differant tuners and most of them claim the evo 9 does taper alot more than the 8's. just installing it let my car run 15psi without any taper at full boost in second gear. i am going turn up the boost to 24psi on 91 to see how it compares to the setup i had before. then try 100 octane at 27 pounds to see how it holds up. but so far the wastegate acutator even at 15psi the car felt alot stronger than spiking at 24psi then tapering down to 17psi. i am going to let my driver see how he can do with lower boost, see how he likes the new setup. personally i think he just need 20psi on 91 octane.

Here an update well just turned up the boost (still on 91) the car spiked at 24psi and tapered around 21psi - 22psi for gauge monitoring i use a DEFI BF gauge w/playback. the car feels insane i am going to try new maps i got from jester see if things change but the FORGE Wastegate Acutator is one of the best investment right next to a flash and tune.

saiyanzzrage: DEFINATLY GET ONE IT WORHT EVERY PENNY, BETTER THAN THAT STUPID GROUND KIT EVERYONE GETS SUCKER INTO BUYING ( I AM A VICTIM MYSELF)

kimletrim: WELL IN BARS IT PEAK AT 1.5 BARS AND THEN TAPERED DOWN TO AROUND 1.2 - 1.3 BARS (1 BAR I THINK IT AROUND 14PSI)

Boltz.: aaaAAAAA YES IT IS RUNNING 15PSI OFF WASTEGATE BECAUSE WITH THE BOOST TURN TO ZERO RUNNING OFF WASTGATE ONLY 15PSI, THE SPRING IN MY WASTEGATE IS 27PSI NOT THE STANDARD 19PSI - 24PSI

well i spoke to the guys over at Forge Motorsport and they run a standard 19psi - 24psi spring rate. the way they explain it to me was the factory wastegate was around 12psi and of course for higher boost you would want something more in the range you are using 19 - 24 is what most people are running on 91 octane i requested for 27psi because i am looking to run that all day on 100 octane, you can try out the standard one if you prefer forge also sells seperate springs for like $15 it easy to put in all you would need to add is a 3psi spring and your money. it up to your preference the stiffer spring seems to determin how much you turn up your boost controller, i could be wrong but you can contact the guys at Forge and they can explain it a little better than i can

Right now, Scott from TTP Engineering has the last of the current production run of Evo 9 specific units.

We should have a new production run finished soon!

We are the ONLY ones that have these at this time. Just a few left in stock.

Thanks Mike.
