Forge UNOS MBC doesn't modulate boost...
Took the sucker off twice, cleaned and greased it. Didn't matter - boost thru the roof both times.
Switched lines just in case - boost thru the roof again.
Took it off and put on a Hallman that was lying around - worked perfectly the first time.
I've seen other threads talking about this but a cleaning/greasing seemed to solve their problem - didn't help me.
Why did I post this? Dunno.... just wondered if this is a shared experience.

I think you need to assemble the MBC back making sure the spring is properly set otherwise the ceramic ball and the overall performance of the spring mechanism wouldn't perform.
Make sure the spring is not damage already. I don't see anything else going wrong with that, these MBC are so simple to operate that they are also so simple to T shoot.
Swicth to the other standard spring, maybe the one that you are trying is no longer "straight"

Oh yeah, that's the other new tidbit of information. The NEWEST batches of UNOS MBCs no longer have the same boost ranges on the soft and stiff springs.
The stiff spring goes no lower than 26-27psi, and the soft spring can be used up to over 23psi. This is important, because the soft spring used to only go to 19psi, so we always told people to use the stiff one. Now, it's opposite, so everyone should start with the soft spring and work from there...
