Talking Introducing the new OZ Ultraleggera

This new wheel will replace the very successful Superleggera.

The wheel will be produced 15", 16", 17", 18" and 19"

Bright Silver which OZ calls Crystal Titanium, Light Grey which OZ calls Matte Graphite Silver and Gold which OZ calls Race Gold.

The wheels are lighter than the Superleggera's by an average of 400grams (about 1/2 lb)

Production is starting right now in Italy and we will be building part numbers for them next week. We expect the initial shipment before the end of the year.

The three color choices will not be offered in all applications. The Bright Silver will be the primary color and every part number will be made in this, the light grey version will be offered in select fitments like 4-100 and the Gold will be offered for Subaru and some 5-114

This will be the flagship wheel for OZ to celebrate their F1 Championship and also their 35th anniversary next year.

This is all of the information I have at the moment. How many in what fitments I do not know yet. Once there is word for fitments you will be the first to know

Talking

Oh man... if the gold ones have Evo fitment... i'll have to put them in my future mod list. 17x8 or wider would be awesome.

Any general weight info? Not sure what the Superleggeras are, but I know they are one of the lighter wheels OZ Racing makes. But for sure, they are so nice looking. I wish they made the P1 for the Evo... even though I know it's a Subie specific rim. I loved them on my old 2.5RS.

Are they forged? What would be your best guess price wise? (We won't hold you to it) Just trying to get a feel for it.

I'm loving the matte graphite ones. 18"X 8.5 would be nice.

Sorry just to post to say something negative...but I think the Ultras are pretty underwhelming. The Supers where a fresh new design when they came out in 2001. The Ultra is a slight variation almost 5 years later? Wheel designs get too old just to make things a little different, and IMO, not as nice as the first design.

And WOW, a huge 400gram weight savings!!! Talk about progress! Gimme a break.

OZ missed the boat here.

I have the SUPERLEGGARS and love them... These ultras are pretty nice as well. I would like to see them on an EVO before I make positive or negative comment...

400 grams= .88 lbs. That is a pretty good savings for a wheel that is pretty close in shape to the superleggaras. Iwould like to see them on an Evo as well.

Neal if you send me set I will gladly put them on my car and post pictures if I can have them. I would like the dark graphite ones in 18" X 8.5".LOL

Yup, its going to phase out the Superlegg's.

And no I don't know if the Superlegg's will go on special or clearance because of that. (just answering the next question that's bound to show up )

where do you find sizes and offsets on these wheels... it's like impossible...

tirerack being the sole importer of these wheels should have a whole like size chart with offsets and wheel weights... instead i have to put in my vehicle and all that trash... i don't want wheels that "fit" my car i want the biggest wheel i can possibly shove in there.

i guess i'll ask straight out, do they offer a super or an ultra in 17x9 or 9.5 +35?
