window vent..?!

window vent..?!

i saw a picture of a evo with a carbon fiber vents on the rear window.. im not sure what it does.. does anyone knows what im talking about? and where i can get one maybe...?

Are u talking about the little knobs at the top of the rear window? I believe that was called the vortex generator... not sure what it's for...

Some tracks and/or organizations require you to keep your back windows closed. The vents reduce turbulence. Try it yourself next time your on the highway. You will notice a considerable reduction in wind noise if you lower the rear windows at speed.

i have some in my car and am working on making some setups like that. should be available for about half the price of others i have saw form japan.

the picture i posted are mainly used on the rally cars to vent the aire they have filter in them to keep out the dust they are 178.27 a pair

Ala 1988 camaro man, I had them on my 95 grand am when GTS light covers were the dopest thing you could do!

so the vents go in by rolling down the window and then rolling it up with the vents installed thats sweet! i demand a group buy!
