Talking WOW ! 558 AWHP 454 awtq on stock motor (cams and headbolts) and 94 octane w/meth.

bumping this for people as it seems lately people have been thinking of running HUGE turbos on stock motors .....gt35r is about perfect if you can either run good enough gas or meth to get the turbo at least a bit into its sweet spot. (28-38psi)

Well we had a interesting day at the dyno yesterday (it was hot so that held our power a little low for the expected boost because of running fat to be safe as well as a very safe timing cure). First i would like to thank all the people who helped:

Slickmotorsports gt35r equal length manifold turbo kit best kit ever!!
Slickmotorsports 3 inch intercooler piping with precision intercooler core (3.5 inch)
Slickmotorsports 3inch downpipe and piping with JUN BL ti muffler from switzer performance (ABSOLUTELY AMAZING MUFFLERS)
Slickmotorsports intake (4 inch pipe with hks filter)
Switzer performance tuned aem ems w/3.5 bar map (most amazing tuning and some of the most professional people i have EVER dealt with!)
880cc injectors
walbro 255 pump
agency power fuel rail setup
exedy triple disc ceramic clutch
GSC 272/264 I/E setup (awesome !)
arp headbolts
agency power short shifter (amazing product)
hallman in-car adjustable boost controller from www.boostcontrollers.com (amazing item for sure)
Buschur racing alky kit (14psi starting and 18psi max)

So on to the fun....we made 499 awhp (25-26psi) today where the temps were over 100 degrees in the dyno room setup how i would safely drive it regardless of heat or humidity on 94 octane. But what fun is that honestly .... We made (in the head with the 94 octane and the meth injection) two runs back to back (with a short cool down ) of 558 awhp and 454 awtq (30psi). That is stock motor all around besides cams and headbolts....i have vids if someone can host them and i also have pics of the dyno sheets... i am curious is this a record for hp on stock internals regardless of fuel ? This was done on switzer performances dynojet with no smoothing set and on normal SAE corrected numbers not some inflated junk....

again get me someones email to host the vids (not that great qualilty) but they do show some pulls and one 558awhp pull from start to finish with the computer showing the hp... i also have bigger dynosheets someone can put up since i don't know how....lol.

http://public.fotki.com/evodave/evo_dyno_sheets/

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...5&postcount=35

first is the dyno pull with 558 awhp and the second is seeing how the new switzer JUN BL titanium muffler sounded after we got done dynoing and installed it. Hope the vids work

Dave

i think the idea is that it will assist spoolup a tad and add a little low range....btw since we were really stressing the motor at what had to be about 670 + crank hp we cut most runs about 1000 rpms sooner then we normally would rev to on the road. We figured there was no need to have a catostrophic motor failure cause i am nuts .....especially when i have internals waiting to go into it as soon as slickmotorsports and switzer performance can get some free time to assist me ....lol...cough cough.

Great #'s but I hope you wont be running this kind of power daily on stock internals - it just isnt smart.

to be honest in my opinion with the motor as stock as i have it even the 489 awhp in the denatured alky and water like i have been running all the time since the last tuning is a bonzai setup....lol. Even on the dyno anything over 500awhp is a little nuts...but whatever....i think we coulda made 580 awhp a few times .

Well ****. I thought it woulda already blown up at 30psi on 94 octane with some methonal....guess not! I am running around the streets at 500awhp...well 499awhp. I guess the setup is solid ! especially in the heat and humidity...Tim Switzer is the freakin man when it comes to tuning thats for sure....and matt at slickmotorsports can build a freakin Brick of a car! NO problems whatsoever knock on wood.
