New EVO's for $1500 under MSRP

Just got off the phone with Scott at Mitsubishi in Holland Michigan (Lower/Western MI). He's got some new EVO's coming in and is willing to sell for $1500 under MSRP (White for sure). He is already on the 'evolution.net' list for selling at MSRP if you need his phone number. Being an EVO owner I thought I would pass on the good word.

Hmm, my sister lives in Zeeland (basically Holland area), and said one of the area dealers has a silver EVO out front with $2000 below MSRP written on the window. I wonder if it is same or different dealer?

I think Roseville Mitsubishi would sell below MSRP. They've had their EVOs sitting on the lot for some time now. I don't think they've sold one in about a month. I think they've only sold one or two total, thus far.

I wonder if any dealers in the New York or Upstate New York area are slashing prices? I've been wanting to fly up to the Adirondacks. It would be nice to fly up pick up my new car, enjoy the mountains, and drive home and have a car all broken in.

I'm in NY (LI) and I agreed to $600 off MSRP. I'm sure if I pushed them harder I could have got $1k off.

No big deal, I'm just happy to get some sort of discount.
