Gizzmo MS IBC...

Ok, so I finally decided to take a chance and go with statracing and bought the Gizzmo MS IBC. I ordered it last Wednesday and got it today. Yeah, it did take a week but I had shipped ground and it did come from CT.

I'm planning on having it installed along with a Walbro fuel pump and a tune this Friday. As of right now all I have on the car is the Tanabe Concept G Blue exhaust. I wonder what kind of gains I'll see. I'll keep you guys updated.

Here are some pics of the ebc:

I was always skeptical of Gizzmos stuff. I've just never seen anyone use it. Let us know how it turns out.

It was $335 shipped. Not too bad a price considering I've seen it go for anything from $350 - $480.

WTF? Somebody beat me to it?! Damn, those are the exact same mods minus the fuel pump. It's even the same color car. Man, I hate biting somebody else's mods.

The max boost is 50 lbs. Crazy... never read anywhere on the forum of anyone running that much boost. It can read in both psi and bar.

Well, here's my dyno graph from my tune with Tuning Technologies. They installed the boost controller, a Walbro fuel pump and Alfred used his amazing tuning skills on the dyno.

91 oct, 23 psi
Tanabe Concept G Blue
Gizzmo MS IBC
Walbro fuel pump
Drop in K&N

The Gizzmo did fairly well. Alfred did say there was some user interface difficulties but the controller did do it's job.

Much thanks to the crew at Tuning Technologies. Another satisfied customer. =)

Quick Off-Topic Question

When you placed your order, did you have any issues with statracing.com?

Does this come with a new 3 port solenoid at all? I can't find anything on their site bar that it has a v good solenoid driver. It appears to be good value.

Cheers Steve
