I just dropped over 5K in this car its, not all about the money. and i'd need 14 to get into the new RA which is why man made the auto loan.
But in either case. if I was you i'd seriously probably get the EVO. it's what i would have done this time around if insurance didnt want to bend me over and if i knew how to drive stick back then. (yes i thought about buying it before i could drive stick, please hold the flaming, it was a retarded idea.)

I'm psyched. By the time the 08 ralliart comes out, I'll be 3.5 years into my loan. Hopefully I won't be so upside down by then and I can get one. I'm also thinking EVO but the ralliart will be more practical I think.

Well I just saw an article talking about an 08 lancer possibly *also said it could possibly be photoshopped so its just speculation for now*

Than here is a pic of the new 08 Lancer, not for sure it's the Ralliart model though, but a mitsu corp member here claims its the 'GTS' model.
Than here is testimony from a member on NASIOC who saw a few of the new lancers in Santa Barbara:

I was in downtown Santa Barbara, CA this afternoon and saw a container truck loaded with several new Lancers. They all had single exhausts and spoilers, just like the blue one posted by JoeyW, so I imagine they were Lancer Ralliarts. I saw a white one, a metallic green one, and a silver one, all in front of the Hotel Andalucia. I also tried to talk with a guy driving a red one who was stopped in a parking lot next to the hotel, but he was having none of it. They looked pretty nice -- much cleaner and more substantial than I was expecting. The front end, especially, looked a lot better in person than on my computer screen.
If anyone's curious and lives near Santa Barbara, the cars were all either in front of the Hotel Andalucia or across the street at the Shell station. Not very subtle, Mitsubishi. The hotel is off the Carrillo exit of the 101, right near State Street.

yeah that definately looks more realistic (the red bland one) than all of these extreme sketches and stuff. It's definately going to be bland for the base model. I wouldn't doubt that it would look just like the red one.

yeah nice photoshop, did i have to say were you can notice its a photoshop?

-bottom front bumper

-wheels on the 2 pictures are the same picture flipped horizontal

Its not a horrible photoshop. But the rear bumper gray part is definately the same as the blocks used to hide the liscence plate. and the mitsu emblem and LANCER are definately not part of the car. Its a nice try and I'm sure the base model will look about as dull as that.
