Personally I love it. If this thing snapped in half for some odd reason, I'd immediatly get a new one. Its listed at an EXCELLENT price. Especially if you look at the price of the B&M SS ($120+) or the Perrin SS (also $120+).
Only 2 downfalls I can see to this SS:
1. My stock knob didn't fit - it was too big, just slipped over the threads
2. In the morning, the metal knob included with the shifter can be damn cold. When its hot/sunny the metal knob can get damn warm.

I got mine for $28 shipped on ebay...
The throw on the Evo is only about 20% and NOT 40%... and you WILL need a retainer base unless you wanna cut your stock shifter rod to re-use your stock retainer.

One more question...i don't like the shift knob that came with it...i have a razo shiftknob...it fits on the stock shifter... will stock knob fit that shifter? i have evo viii
