ETS I/C piping....

I mean I guess I knew it was gonna happen.... My car sat for 50 or 60 days, and then I started tearing it down for the part out... I had HUGE deposits of rust forming on my lower portion of the upper pipe..(DSM 1g).. After checking, ALL of the pipes are rusty on the inside.. Just a pump gas car.

I pmd Mike from ETS.. 2x... Askin about an uprade/ swap since my kit was only 10-11months old.... NO RESPONSE...

SO.....

Im gonna use the piping on another car and was wondering what I might be able to do to help the pipes stay rust free... Like a sanding of some sort, then some rustolieum paint?? ANyone have a suggestion...

when I swapped out my stock uicp it was clean inside, this was after 43,000 miles and 3+ years, my car s a 2005. I also swapped out some unknown licp that was aluminum and that too was fine. I have heard about other people on here having the same issue as you. I wonder if its the area of the country you live?

I sent you a PM back... ? I'm not sure why it didn't make it. Give me a call. 360-263-3748. We always had an option on the website to select stainless steel, but... we are still willing to warranty the piping. Give me a call.

Michael

Shuttle -

I just checked my messages and I don't show a response to you, but I show messages sent to OBI. I read yours over the weekend and was going to send you a quote when I return back to work. We don't work on the weekends so it might take tell the week day to get back to you.

Sorry!
