Looking for a "quieter" exhaust than my 3" TurboXS TBE
I'm currently looking for an exhaust that is straight through and at least 3" throughout, but is much quieter than my TurboXS. Does anyone have sound clips or links so I can hear different exhausts. I do like the black/noir painted ones as well i.e. Perrin/Apex I ....Thanks

Cobb makes an exhaust you should add to your short list.

I would second that, that is what I have on my car and is very quiete compare to others. I do not have a cat ans still I would consider it to be quiet, there are people that had issues with the resonator, I my self do not have any issues with it and I had this exhaust for more than a year now. IF I had a sound clip I would put it here but I don't have one.

i had 4 cobbs shipped to me. i have the high flow cat too. downpipe and cat fit perfect. first resonator cracked. none of the resonators and mufflers were the same and fitment was bad. see my posts. i'm living with it but definitely not a straight bolt on. it does sound nice though.
the issue was lengths and tailpipe hitting the bumper cutout. beware. it's hit or miss with the quality. period.

Tanabe
I went from an Apexi N1, to a Magnaflow, and then to the Tanabe Touring Medallion. The Tanabe is the quietest exhaust I've ever had. At freeway speeds, there is no drone. You can barely hear it on the freeway at cruising speeds. I can actually hear my radio and have a conversation with my son. The quality is outstanding. The style is sleeper compared to other exhausts. It doesn't stick out too far or is angled.
Here's some pics.
The End All Jdm Exhaust Fitment Thread!!!!!!!!!
You tube has some sound clips too.

are the above exhaust's all 3" piping? I'm not running a cat, and even with a resonator on the TurboXS and a pretty large "fart can" it is still loud I'm looking to go cat-back so keep the suggestions coming, thanks!!
