Girodisc MAGIC PADS Installed @ 38,000 Mile w/ out Cutting Rotors

Just wanted to share my Experience with GiroDisc Magic Pads.

Being Broke after shelling out a bunch of money for a Competition Clutch Stage 3 Clutch...

I found out that i needed pads badly... So Magic Pads to the Rescue.

@ $150 shipped for the whole set... these are some of the best bang for buck pads.

I never cut my rotors / never even bothered sanding them either (there was a very prominent Lip on the rotors inner and outer edge) I was just pissed at the car and wanted to just be able to have some braking ability.

Just took the worn out stockers and slapped on the magic pads with (some extreme high temp Brake Lube From Napa).

Voila with some initial Noise for the First 200 Miles... they are whisper quiet.

Pads have more initial bite and have almost 0 brake dust. I didnt even bed these in.

No Vibrations either ... an awesome pad to replace the stockers

Again i never cut nor sand my rotors.

I recommend these pads for anyone on a budget for street driving.

Thank You GIRODISC & Martin

Wow. I am in the same boat as you but in worse condition.

Bought Shep trans and CCI stage 3 clutch and noticed that I'm getting close to replacement time for my brakes. Rotors have a little lip as well around the edge.

I'm definately going to consider these pads in the very near future. Lets see how much more I can ride my brakes out until they hit the wear mark indicator. At the moment I have 28k miles on the car.

Thanks for the write up.

If your brakes start making some noise, get them turned get the lip off, you'll be good to go for a while longer
