Evolution Dynamics Rocks!!
I just wanted to post this to inform any other evo members at or around the dallas region (or anywhere else for that matter) that this is a quality shop to take your car to. Kevin and Richard took my car in and began the completion of my 35r kit I had started at another shop the weekend prior. They got the fuel finished and from there began checking over the other stuff. They ended up fixing the oil fittings that were leaking (including a bolt that holds it to the block that was crossthreaded), intake that was installed in an odd manner and was all mangled up, installed my forge motor mount, rerouted the vac lines that were causing my boost gauge to read incorrectly, and began tuning. Everything turned out great with the car and I would recommend them to anyone.

Street tune. It was too late to get somewhere and get dyno'd. I'm hoping the next time I make a trip to SA I can get it dyno'd. I also want to give it some time to make sure there are no bugs and all is well for an extended period of time.

evolution dynamics is really a good and reputable Evo shop in Dallas, I've had them tune my car 3 times now with certain installs, and they were all good experiences. That's why I drive out to Dallas from Houston just to go them because I know their work is top notch with affordable prices too.

KevinD, just curious have you tuned with injector dynamics injectors(Bosch)?
What's the highest hp evo you've tuned on stock ecu?
Also is there a reason why your tuning price is so cheap? (Just curious)

thats what im hoping to hear since there is no shops that work on evos in LA up north. Just me and my moms bf doing everything and the nice Nissan dealer that helps me out. so its cool that im only 3 hours from him. I have done a ton of work myself but i dont feel comfortable pulling my motor etc so im going to let him do it in january and take care of that its nice to hear reviews he knows whats going on for sure gives me more confidence in his shop

i haven't tuned the bosch injectors yet, but they get tuned the same way any injector gets tuned so its no problem at all.
highest HP on stock ecu is well into the 500's but we have 3 cars at the shop right now, 2 are looking to do 9's in the 1/4 mile on stock ecu, and one is looking to do 200mph in the standing mile. all 3 will be over 600whp.
my tuning prices are where they are because i don't feel right charging 600 dollars for a tune 300 is my current price, it has progressively gone up over the years, but i like affordable prices as a consumer and i feel thats a fair price.
Thanks for the review Jeremy! it was great meeting you guys and let us know when you need work done next (cough! e85 cough!)

Yeah thats what I hear. I havent heard anything bad about Evolution Dynamics, so I will take my car to them when I get back. S
Kevin, did the price go up to $300? I was told $250, so I'm just curious. If it went up, then oh well, its still a dang good price.

Oh I know the tuning process I was just curious to see if you got to experience them and see how smooth they are. I was running 1000cc on my prelude and it idled like stock.
Now they have 2000cc..
That's what I want is to run in the 9 sec class and still DD it.. When I get some free time I'll swing by and check out the shop. What days do you usually tune. Like Tony @ T1 tunes mon, wed, fri.. Maybe I can catch you when your on the rollers.. :-)
it's a good price I was just curious. I paid $400 reg price is $500 on my lude.

+1 for Kevin! If you are looking for a dyno near by there is one at Alamo (if they are still open its been a while since I have been home), and there is one at COBB in Plano

we tune cars all the time, but we street tune them. don't have a dyno. occasionally i have tuned cars on dynos, but its rare. the street tune will get as much out of it as a dyno tune will.
we are at the shop wrenching on them usually mon-wed-fri after 8pm. and usually all day saturday.

Eeeehhh, your an old school tuner then. I prefer a dyno tune being the rollers are heavy enough to do a "street tune" also. I'm still learning the tuning aspect but I'm getting there. I've only messed with a hondata S300.
So what local shops have AWD dyno's then? From what I read COBB does but I've never even heard of that place. Kenny at Jotech Motorsports was suppose to be getting one. Who else?
