Thumbs down Prostart alternators FTL they can GFT

I bought a Prostart alternator from Pepboy's since mine just dumped on me the other day. Litterally 3 hours of trying to figure out why it wouldn't fit. Drilling, elongating anything. Nothing at all you can do to make this thing fit. The lower ear mounts are 3/8" off. I am irate right now since the car really cant roll since the hub, axle and misc are disconnected. Military hobby shop rate of $3 an hour until I find one so yeah. Discuss.

Dont they ask for your old one for a core? You werent able to compare both to verify its the same/ correct one while at the store? Take it back, its a possiblity they gave you one for a different application.
