Synapse Sychronic experience

I just installed the Synapse DV recirc that i got from nolimitmotors.

First time around i had crazy flutter so my friend and i turned for home again and noticed the C port line was pinched by the inter-cooler elbow piping coming up from left headlight area. So i undid all the hoses and twisted the dv more towards the radiator and that fixed it.

Second Run: Works great! sounds just like stock till u hit more serious boost. drive-ability is great at low load little boost. Hard driving on the highway, it still works great just sometimes dropping to partial throttle can lead to some flutter and a lil bucking. nothing to bad. i think this comes from having both the top A and B ports hooked up to vacuum.

From my understanding using the A and B port = Street Driving so i think this is why hard driving on the highway = a little flutter.

people with this DV please chime in with your experience's and setups!

Overall: I am very satisfied with the DV no more boost leak like the Stocker at 26psi and it sounds like stock when driving chill just a tad louder.

I've been looking to get one of these to cope with my surging issues at part throttle.

Could you post the link of the site you bought it from? Also was it the version that fits the evo pipes without mod or did you need to weld on the DV adapter?

Thanks

all u need is the adapter for the bov

Evo 8/9 adapter flange, then u use the factor ruber hose from the bov to the uicp.,

U might have to go to autozone and find a different hose if theres a differnt bend..

But no welding......

Btw i have the bov and i run it port b only running to the intake manifold.. i left port a open..

the car drives alot better that way

I have the same problem too. I hook mine up the way Synapse recommended.

Evokid03 - You mention that you only hook up port B and left port A open. What about port C?

^ Same... and FYI after driving around for a few days with a crushed IX bov, I can't wait for my EVO adapter fitting From Chris@Nolimit... The synapse really does have better drivability than a stock IX bov... The only time a get a hint of surge is in 5th gear, with the crushed IX i get it in 4th, 5th, and sometimes 3rd. Hopefully it gets here soon!
