c port and b port only = success i also changed the vacuum hose to the smallest diameter i could find for snug fitment on those tiny brass fittings.

I'm really tempted to go one of these for my car, but why does it seem everyone has it installed differently? Are there no clear directions on how this works or what?

Local guys over here found out that the only way to get it to work properly is to mount it horizontally so the weight of the piston doesnt close itself.

When I got mine the C-port was capped off already. I was in the impression that it was a Evo specific one and only added vacuum to the A and B ports...

Did any one else receive their BOV in this set-up or should I contact Synapse...

By the way this BOV far surpassed by expectations! The stock IX bov must've been leaking pretty bad because I picked up 5psi of boost before 4,000rpm. I still get flutter when I'm on partial throttle and havent had the time to play with it, one reason being that I dont know if the c-port should be capped...

Once I figure that out I'll start to problem shoot the flutter...

On with the pics...

ok did a little research..... Port A and B should be connected by a T from the stock DV source just like O-townFLA has shown.....and port C should be connected to a boost source i.e....the turbo outlet pipe. Under road course conditions it is ok to only have port b hooked up since some experience flutter on the track. Hope that helps.

+1 how do you guys have yours mounted?

I'm not interested in a valve that bucks at part throttle on the freeway (long uphill stretches), the studdering on my forge drove me nuts, greddy RS is better, and I have been driving on an IX bov for almost 2 years now with good results...still, it could be smoother.

i am talking from my experience with autox and just highway pulls, i just summed it up as large loads = track

but the thing is you gotta mess with it, try different vacuum sources if its just not working no matter what.
make sure u don't have any leaks.
