Draven 83 I have the fp red on my evo curious what kind of power did you put down on stm dyno? i have the stock format housing. I do have some surge when i mat it in 4th or 3rd at 3500 rpms. I'm aware that my blow off valve is playing a roll at the surge sound. Turbo trix told me to just maximize each gear. So down shift if neccessary to avoid the flutter. I love the red can't wait to go c16 next year.

FP red 63mm, Buschur FMIC, DNP MANIFOLD, AEM INTAKE, TYPE S BOV, 880cc /ecu tuned shep 5speed conversion trans act clutch

like my tuner (STM) has stated he thinks it might be a little of both. if i am already mashed on the gas before 4th it wont do it, but if i try to do a pull it will like a couple others have posted in here have had a little problem with.

i guess i am just the first one to mention it.

Less than 400 on a 80 mm turbo? Seems kinda weak for such a big turbo.

My FP used to surge alot when I had a VTA BOV, switching to a recirculated BOV solved the problem. Now it's only a slight surge in 5th at WOT from low RPMS.

if i were you i would refrain from going WOT at low RPM's in 5th gear, you can kill your clutch doing that
