This looks like the exact same cop unit I picked up from Szabafab on ebay. Is this the same vendor? I would definitely agree with all the assessments from the OP, it makes a noticeable difference and my top end has never felt so good. My only concern is that there is one less seal over the plug holes. Where the stockers had a little umbrella cover these do not so be careful washing the motor and whatnot. Relatively minor concern though.

It is an option. You can purchase a kit with new or used coils for either the VIII or IX. It is all about pricing. Just read the www.spoolinup.com website.

what I don't get is, where are these used coil come from? what type of vehicle?
btw, I did read the website, after I saw your review, I went to the website immediately, b/c I am very excited to see COP system at such reasonable price, I was sold on spart tech system, but I think it's way over priced.

From the site:

Quote:
Used coils are ~60k mile JDM takeoffs. The condition varies from good to ok aesthetically, but I test every single used kit on my personal car so I know they are workin great.

When is the new kit coming out? How much should I open my plugs up if I'm currently running .022?

Let me rephrase it... the reason why I ask the question is, are all the cars share the same universal type of coils?

If My car is tuned now, and I put this on, do I need a retune or not? I would love to see a before and after dyno. Maybe showing you can widen the gap on the plugs and so on without a misfire.
