Mellon Tuning review - Great Dedication
Just finished up my tune with Chris form Mellon Tuning. All I have to say is that Chris is one hell of a stand up guy that has great professional and customer skills. I purchased this package form Chris back in 2007. Since then I have been through many different obstacles in my life which ultimately delayed my ability to log my car and get back to Chris, but he has stuck with me the entire time and never got frustrated with me. First I had problems getting my logging software to work with my computer, then it was problems with my WB02 then it was problems with my JDM Map etc etc. Then went on a hiking tour through the middle east and parts of Europe that ended with an Island hoping tour through the Greek islands (I had just graduated college and that was my way of relaxing ) Then I had to deal with this crap economy being a freshly graduated engineer and find a job, this took me about a year. Finally i see some light and have a little less stress. Time to get back to tuning.
So I contact Chris a few weeks ago after not being in touch for about 9 months to ask if he would be willing to just finish up the tune from where we left off. He says no problem and is extremely understanding. The entire process took 2 years and 23 flashes. And I want to stress that the only reason it took 2 years was on my end not Chris's. If i had my a** in gear the whole thing could have taken just a couple of days to a week i feel. Hes always been very quick to respond to my e-mails.
Im very happy with the results from Chris's tune. I picked up about 40hp and 40tq in the end. This was all on a VIII with TBE and 22-23psi. The car feels strong and I know I have a safe tune.
Thanks again Chris!

Wow! It's good to know we have great tuners out there that are willing to help the Fellow EVO owners no matter what.
That is why I have to keep my baby for EVER until maybe an EVO 15 or 20 comes out....

Absolutely man. This guy is legit as well as many other very knowledgeable people on this forum.
I've been part of several different forum's for different vehicle's and none of them compare to the community that we have here
