Hey Chris. Any updates, has the weather been good enough to take her out? Side note: I took mine out fist time since nov. Did a pull and check the the log. Nothing has changed everything was spot on.

Chris, it amazes me what you are able to do with the stock ECU. Did I read that you are still on the stock FPR, lines, and rail with the PTE 1000cc injectors? Is this how you roll on both 93 and Q16? I'm just curious as the HTA35r is on my radar and I just want to make sure that I'm understanding everything properly. It basically comes down to either the FP Red/E85 or HTA35r/pump. I'll keep in touch with you while I'm in Iraq.

hey RLLN247, that's good to hear the tune is staying on target through the winter to these warmer days.
currently I'm on the stock lines/fpr + buschur twin walbro + PTE 1000cc injectors. I went and picked up some known good Q16 fuel and retuned the car and now it's running out of fuel after 37psi so I guess what I had before was actually C16 Sunoco based on the color (I was given the fuel from a friend)
I suspect that at ~700awhp it may be time to do one of or all of these:
fuel rail
disable the pressure relief valve in the twin pumps
PTE 1200cc injectors
adjustable fuel pressure regulator and bump up the base fuel pressure
I ordered a fuel rail from Buschur Racing but I don't think it's shipped yet since my card hasn't been charged.
I did run the car at 37-40psi a few weekends ago for a local race and made an absolute fool out of a Camaro that ran 10.8 @ 126 at the track recently. I put a solid 20+ cars on him The vid is on my forum and youtube channel

And yea, but you could do that with a gm bcs as well (your curve). Hell, you could dial in whatever curve you wanted, even raise boost in certain spots just for kicks.
Turn correction factors down to zero and just set BWGDC to make whatever boost curve you want, it could be W shaped if you wanted it to!

"because a whole extra control box and wiring harness running into the engine bay from the cabin to me is the definition of overly complex"
complex????? how do u call 3 wires going underneath the dash and 1 vacuum line going to the motor complex? if thats what u call complex then i can only imagine what u call logging boost via a laptop to log/adjust boost for the jdm map sensor
i run my blitz dual SBC boost controller and love it and took me no longer then an hour to hook it up and get it dialed in (gain, peakboost set, overboost set, ect, ect)
