I should have cameras with me and I bet my brother will be in the stands shooting me. The problem is that this will be opening day for the track and I'm going to need a miracle to pull a 9 second pass within 1-2 attempts and not get booted off the track too. This is on a new tire setup that's never been to the track, so I'm not sure how to set the pressure and launch. The shops like Buschur rent the track for the day to knock out those records...a shame I don't live closer to them, I'd gladly chip in on the track rental
it'll go 9's this year for sure, I just don't know if it'll be on the first try, that's a very tall order.

Good luck Chris ! I'll be there next weekend but not gonna run my car. Still got the stock clutch in so just cruising it right now. MA Performance is sending me a pm on Exedy twin, I'm just not looking foward to pulling that tranny. I'm gonna send it to Buschur for the Bushwacker while its out.

odd thing. I was out this weekend with some known good Q16 and ran out of injector with DLL showing 679awhp @ 39psi The AFR is quite lean(still acceptable) but there's no knock. I was hoping to bump up the boost and timing a little.
track opens next weekend...the problem is that I'll be lucky to get 2 passes...I'm not expecting to get 9's on the first trys with a new tire setup and I'm really worried about getting booted out if I go 10's again. I really need to abort any passes with a bad launch or missed shift to stay under the radar.

Mellon how far is the closest dyno to you? I know it is quite a drive for you. I think you should start a paypal account and people can donate money to help fund a trip to the dyno for you and see what she will really make. I am not bashing you in any way by saying this, just want to see real dyno numbers. I know I would donate some money for this.

I guess atlanta is the closest...even if that shop called and say "you can do some pulls for free" I wouldn't be in a big rush to get there, that piece of paper just doesn't mean much to me. The proof is in the pudding (trap speed)

yea for sure, i had to add some fuel up top cuz my afr was around 12.4 on the q16 witch is a little lean for me and now im at 113% duty cycle. but i did add 2-3 degrees up top and i went from 558 to 580 in dll and still no knock.
dang i took it off topic again sorry lol.
