it's a ton of fun and driving it to work at part throttle the car feels so much more responsive with the added timing. It's one hell of a daily driver.
I'm planning on hitting the track tonight after work...no time to mount the slicks so I'm just going to take my bald ass street tires, pedal it through first and see what it can do. My original goal has always been 10.99 @ 130 on 93 octane...I just might get that MPH side of it but I doubt I'll get the e.t. side on street tires.
I'll take my laptop and video camera with me and share that asap.

Ahhh, the good old south, I love it.
What kind of loads are you seeing with this set-up in ECUFlash?
Care to post a log for a few of us to look at?
I am expecting when my car is finished to see well north of 350 loads...

I used to see ~ 330kpa loads prior to epoxying the mas honeycomb in but since then it's been seeing 380kpa, I suspect more air is being directed in the middle now and being metered. So with the new setup it's pegging 380kpa until ~ 8000rpm where it starts to fall off slightly.
sure, I'll post something up soon but don't expect timing/fuel values to be shared, that's for paying customers only

Thanks, I understand that. Your timing values are not relevant to my build anyhow due to my compression hovering slightly above 9.5:1 anyhow. I am just curious to see the load values, mostly in anticipation of how I am going to set up my maps and tuning thinking that our loads are going to be somewhat similar. Probably the only closest person that is going to run a timing map similar to mine is Lucas with his 10.0:1 compression build..

yep, I suspect you'll need less timing if you're going to run the same boost as me.

It is AWESOME.. and No, he has not ran into any issues regarding the stock ecu limits YET... and I hope he does not.. He is the most FULLY capable person that I know when it comes to tuning and I think if any one can go a bit further on the stock ecu... Chris is the one that can do it for sure!

a few issues I foresee with the stock ecu/mas
I'm hitting the 380kpa load limit, that doesn't mean it can't flow more air than that but that's all it's going to report in the log files. Similar to how the airflow value logged clips at ~ 1600hz on most mitsu since the dawn of time.
Beyond 7969rpm the number is repeated in the logs regardless of what RPM you're actually taking it to. I haven't tried 2byteRPM yet but 2byteLoad didn't help so it may not either.
Neither of these have posed a problem thus far but perhaps it will once I raise the boost with race gas and spin it to a much higher RPM.
as I mentioned before I have the AEM EMS sitting on stand by just in case but I've never been one to throw in the towel and the first sign of trouble.
