I hope we can see a lot more power soon. I know you have hit 525 on your old setup in cooler weather as well.. so I was thinking that would be a breeze with this setup... but who knows.. I am excited to see the results!! thanks for keeping every one updated Chris.. you are awesome (:

I think you mean when I "add" some timing not "pull" but I get what you meant I agree, there's improvements everywhere:
1) my stock shorty had 130psi compression in one cylinder from the day I bought the car with 14k miles on it, now I have a fresh shorty with good internals
2) my stock head vs new ported polished with bigger valves
3) my hks 280 cams vs buschur bf 272
again the fact that the AFR went very lean is a good sign, the fact that it didn't knock at all is a good sign. If I could reproduce my cold weather DLL numbers in this warmer weather alone would be a nice 25-30awhp bump at 525awhp. I suspect it'll be able to do that but I never expected much more than that at the same boost level.
I drove it home for lunch and it felt really good and I glanced at the AFR and it's getting closer to ideal. However it's started raining like nuts with standing water everywhere so I may not get to dial in the tune tonight

the nearest coast to me is the Mississippi river, I think the gulf is a 10 hour drive for me if that's what you're referring to.
I'm hoping I make some damn good numbers through the stock ecu/mas so I don't have to go to the AEM EMS but I'm prepared for it if I need to. I'm just waiting on the 5 bar pressure sensor from Buschur and I'll have everything I need.

Yeah sorry lol.. ADD timing... It is raining here too ... booooooo!!!!!! but yeah.. I know there are a ton of benefits in what you did.. I hope we can see the max of the stock ecu/mas from your perspective.. since I know you are fully capable of COMPLETELY maxing it out!! Good luck and keep us updated bro!

I tell ya I could have gone with any other brand for my parts but I wanted the best for my car. I tune a ton of cars and the ones with the BR parts really outshine the others in most cases so the choice was clear for me. I'm thinking about doing the indy/wilson v2 intake mani as well. I'm sure the PPI ported stock intake/mani is good but I think it could be improved upon a little bit with the v2.

Thanks for the great review. Thanks for your patience on the build on our end too, I appreciate it all.
I can't wait until you get the car to the track!! Please add your numbers and times to our forums when you do.
Good luck.

will do David, there will be much more data to come in this thread everyone so please subscribe if you haven't already. Whether I have successes or failures you'll know about it. I think it's important to shine a light on both to help the platform grow. I'm thinking about hitting the track after work one night this week on the street tires for some shakedown passes just to see how the traps are looking like. I'll need a weekend event to have time to put the slicks on and really see what she'll do.
