It would be nice to have some type of flex joint on the dump tube so it can clear both the stock and aftermarket LICP's

Its pictured with an AMS type LICP. We will report back the fitment with stock and aftermarket pipes.

We designed the unit around the stock turbo outlet pipe. If you use the stock turbo outlet pipe then it will clear. I believe 99% set ups use the stock pipe.

Currently yes. We will be testing the unit this week and providing feedback on the gasket to QTP whether to continue to use one, use stock, use theirs or redesign a new one altogether.

Thanks for that. I like getting feedback from people who can actually hear the difference. I appreciate all input but the ones who have the product and can tell me what its like from an everyday driver standpoint is cool.

Everyday driver standpoint.. Barely noticeable you wouldnt even know i had it if i was just driving around town shifting at ~3500. Sometimes i need to speed up a bit and it will not even whisper at 4500. You really need to get on it to hear it. I mean pedal to the floor with that grin on your face.lol. You can slowly pull it to 7800 without going full throttle and it wont make a sound either. I also felt a nice bump in power through my midrange. Didnt get it dynoed however EPM's dyno test and countless hours in research and develop sealed the deal for me.

An open dump will only get loud when the WG opens. This means that low throttle, low boost situations like daily driving will be quiet as a mouse. I've driven a few cars with open dumps and I could boost up to 15 psi from a light without it making a peep. For street and hwy driving it will not be any louder.

I have had an open dump on my car for over a year.....it is NOT ANY LOUDER under normal driving.

As was mentioned it will only be louder when the wastegate opens. This will only happen as you approach your MAX boost.

Driving anywhere below max boost will be normal noise level, then once you get near your max boost, the wastegate opens and it is much louder. Then once you get back below max boost it quiets down again.

I am finishing up a clutch install and should have the car running in just a couple days. I will make a video dirving around normal and then getting on it so you can hear when it gets loud.

No need to test anything. Nothing is better than stock gasket and even then I have never had a leak and I have done almost 100 02 housing installs.

Yes. For a standard, recirculated O2 housing the stock gasket is best. However, with an open O2 dump there is a noticeable "leak" between the turbine outlet and the WG tube. I believe TTP will be testing how that effects performance. To me the "poppoppoppoppop" at idle is enough to want it fully sealed.

What leak? The flange design looks the same to me. That is why they designed the pipe to fit the flange not the flange to fit the pipe. That gasket will probably leak since that type has leaked in the past.

The stock gasket is open between the turbine and wastegate even though the flanges are not. This creates a passage between the two and a leak once you dump the WG to the atmosphere.

Ok now I got you. Still though I think that style gasket will leak.
