I don't totally agree with this statement, I think its fine to let the exhaust gases take the path of leath resistance. If a little bit of the main exhaust gas wants to go out the dump tube, let it, that just means less resistnace. Its like having a larger diamater exhaust.

It will make the car louder, but only when your at high boost. Driving around town, idle, etc.... it will be the same sound. Only when the wastegate opens (pretty much only during boost above >18psi or so) will it be louder.

I suppose you could try to install this without removing the downpipe but that would make things much harder. The down pipe removal is the easiest part of this install, it only takes a couple min, so just remove it.

i noticed my exhaust got a tad louder when i got my dump on. just barely noticeable.

I'll post some install pics for you later today. It clears my buschur LICP but I can't say if it will clear stock, never tried it.
