Just to build on what chaotic is saying. Amsoil uses 100% synthetic base stock, unlike a lot of other "100% synthetic" oils out there.

and to build further...they were the creators of the first fully synthetic oil haha

Could I ask what spec amsoil you're running? Is it 0w30?
