How Official EvoM product reviews work

We at evoM periodically review products (generally installed on the evoM project evo 8) which then get published in the features section of this site. As most of you have probably noticed, there are no negative reviews. This is due to the fact that if for any reason we do not like a product we do not use it or write about. Therefore, you will only ever see neutral to positive reviews. That said, we do our best to give a fair and unbiased prospective.

As we grow, our testing methods are ever expanding to bring you the most in depth reviews we can which now include new cars. In the future we will be bringing you even more qualitative and quantitative data on ever product and vehicle we review.

Here are the steps we follow with every review.
  • Obtain a product. Some products are given to us to be reviewed while others are products we specifically seek out.
  • Analyze the product before installation. This is where we asses the overall build quality and design and where most products we refuse to review get rejected
  • Install the product. In some case we will document the install process if it is a DIY project.
  • Develop a test plan to asses the performance and follow through with it.
  • Write a review and submit it to the manufacturer for fact checking (if neutral or positive)
  • Publish and discuss
