Carbonetics Twin Carbon Clutch Review

Well my stock clutch finally started slipping with 22k miles and about 30 launches.

So I started looking into twin disc clutches. I was going to get the Exedy twin Hd but after all the horror stories I ended up paying a few extra bucks for the ATS twin carbon 1,350kg. I bought it at Mynes performance and had them do the install.

I picked up my car today and all I can say is Damn..... The clutch is so quite compared to other twin disc. Tranny shifts so smooth and the clutch pedal is just like stock, maybe just a little bit stiffer. Iam just amazed on how the tranny shifts like butter.

A Big Thumbs Up To the people at Mynes They did a hell of a job. http://www.mynesperformance.com/shop/

I will keep everybody posted on the clutch as soon as Iam done breaking it in. 500 miles Then Iam out to the Track !!!!

This isnt nothing new the best thing about it with it being carbon there is really no break in time warm it up and go for it.

The main reason people stay away from it is the cost to rebuild it. At 650 a plate its very costly but it will last way longer then 97% of the other twin or triple disks out.

Make sure to not do any launching on this clutch untill after a good 800 miles.
Warpage is the biggest concern. So take it easy...and you will be glad you did.

I just bought the same clutch. Installing it as I write this.
