It's been nearly five years but it's time to move on to my next big project. Unfortunately with me working full time alongside school and all, I'm unable to complete the car the way I would have wanted. Rather than beating it up as a DD, it should find a new home. That said, only a full paint job, a few small bits here and there, and a quality tune is all she needs.
For those who are not familiar with the car, it is a Evo 6 Tommi Makinen Edition (RS2) conversion. The donor chassis was a 1998 Mirage LS. The entire exterior was replaced with OEM Evo panels (as was the interior), the drivetrain replaced with the 4WD 4G63T system, and the entire rear floorboard replaced with an Evo one. Engine has an Evo 9 turbo and a Hallman MBC. Full TEIN coilover setup. If you haven't already seen the 60-page build thread, please take a look. Every single detail or modification has been documented. 98 Mirage to Evo 6.5 TME
(Now has Evo 6 IC installed)
I'm not going to list all of the parts I put into it, as they would be the same as in any Evo 6 TME. That and the list would be ridiculously long! There are however a lot of extra parts not installed on the car. Those include amongst other things:
Evo 6 TME GSR turbo
Spare front bumper
Again it's tough to let it go but I think it's time. Now keep in mind, unlike some other Evo 4-6's posted here, this one is fully legal to own and operate. Since this is a conversion, and not a grey-market Evo 6, it is 50-state legal. This car will even pass emissions tests. There is not a more complete Evo 6 TME conversion than this one here. Clean WA-state title. Just over 114k miles on odometer, no solid number on engine as was imported. VIN Number: JA3AY36C7WU005034
I would be so tempted to swap my AS ix mr (67K) for this but I would probably need to also give you cash on top of that and my GF would kill me! haha! GLWS I wish you didn;t have to sell and could finish it. WIth the attention to detail you showed this project it is unlikely that the buyer will live up to your standards (I know I couldn't).

I'm sure I'm missing a lot of things but that's all I can think of at the moment. I also have some new things coming soon. I'm waiting on a Walbro 255, an AEM wideband, a full brake fluid change, and I'll be mounting the power steering and oil coolers shortly. In the meantime, please PM me with any questions!
Unfortunately I'm losing my job in 2 days, which has forced the sale.
This weekend I'm going to be installing a Walbro 255, AEM wideband, full brake fluid swap with Super Blue, new exhaust gaskets, full oil change and installing the oil cooler. Just some regular maintenance stuff.
