The car runs and drives but developes a rod knock at 3000 rpm,I will throw in a fresh polished crank (NEVER BEEN RESURFACED/CUT) and an oil cooler for the build, or i can rebuild it with all stock parts and sell it for 15k. The car has a clear title and reasonable offers wont be refused, pm me for more info and pics.

sure its a rod knocking?? doesn't a rod knock even at idle? from what I know usually a rod knocks even at idle not just 3 grand. sure its not something like the harmonic balancer?

tempting for the price, but definitely not sure about getting into a car with issues already because unless you fix it before I pick it up I won't be able to really drive it home without causing more damage to the lower engine.
