Eric@COBB's 2014 MR
Hey guys, just wanted to use this thread as a sort of "build thread" to allow the community to follow along with the work we are doing with our newest R&D car. We recently purchased a 2014 Mercury Gray Evo X MR and I am very excited to have this car at my disposal to drive and develop new products/features on. The car has been a ton of fun to drive and I look forward to expanding the offerings for the Evo platform. Here are a couple of pictures the day we picked it up.

One of the first things we did on the car was test panel filters and put together the intake calibration spreadsheet/video. I threw a COBB sticker on the filter because I thought it looked cool.

Decided the car was sitting to high and needed some better handling. COBB front/rear sway bars and a set of sport springs it is.

After the suspension install, we decided to take the car out for a drive and make this video. Hope you guys enjoy it. Also the front/rear swaybar set along with the sport springs are now on sale!

Glad you guys liked the video. We added a full turbo-back as well as a wideband O2 sensor to the car a while back and I forgot to share the pictures here. This car is a ton of fun especially when you start modding it. The handling is superb and there are times I can't believe I am able to take corners as fast as I do. It is also very nice to be able to watch actual AFR while driving aggressively.

We took the Evo to a COBB employee track day out at Harris Hill Raceway in San Marcos Texas, and I thought I would post some pictures. The car performed amazingly and was one of the only cars we took that did not experience much brake fade even though we were hot lapping the car pretty hard. The car ran solid the entire time we were there. These cars are a ton of fun out on track and amazingly capable as I am sure most of you guys already know. It was nice to be able to experience what this thing can do going full out on track.
I believe our media guy is working on putting together a video as we got a ton of footage of all the cars on track. I will post that up when he gets it finished.
