I really appreciate it man. My goal primarily was to prove the 4g69, probably now the most widely available Mitsubishi 4g iron block in the world, as a viable high horsepower solution. Now we have three proven block options for the ct9a chassis and many across the globe already with this engine have a recipe for some power no matter what car it's in

As I've said before this is full disclosure so if any have any questions I'm completely against the smoke and mirror tragedy that has been suffocating this community.

Hi yeah its all good I'm still trying to learn your forum and will post a build thread of our demo car and do a intro to ho we are . I havent really heard much of the 4g69 sounds interesting which car does it come from ? We use the 4g64 block and it seems to hold over 1000bhp without issue

Hey, just went through your whole thread again. Great stuff man, great stuff this gives me hope! Hopefully I'm as successful.
I do have a question, a reason why I was going through your thread again. (Besides all that sweet fab work)

what flywheel did you use? A 69 or 63 flywheel. Also, any issues with the Evo's clutch? I'm assuming the transmission bolts right up, like on the 64 blocks.

That's outstanding Brett. If you have any questions about the forums don't hesitate to drop me a line. Can't wait to see the thread. Let me know when it goes up. The 4g69 is found in the Lancer, Galant, and Outlander. Mine came out of an '05 Lancer Ralliart specifically.

Shade08,

I used the 4g63 flywheel supplied with the Exedy triple cerametallic clutch I'm running. My 4g69 came out of a car with an automatic transmission so there was a hub for the flex plate pressed into the flywheel end of the crankshaft. Just used some good packing grease, some wadded up paper towels, and a couple of solid smacks with a hammer and it came out.

Apart from proving the 4G69's worth, are you at any type of advantage utilizing the shortblock from the 4G69 versus the 4G63 one?

In regards toto comparing to athe 4g64, 2.4 litres of displacement without the need for adustable cam gears, water pump modification/spacer. In regards to a 4g63, a much less expensive block/crank combination are topical advantages I can come up with.

The car has been sitting in the States as I have been out of the country finalizing my move. Currently setting up container transport for it here. No issues other than two bent passenger side wheels due to the border town infrastructure of San Antonio just a few days before I left in August. The replacements should be in soon from the great guys over at Forgestar

Used the oem 4g69 crankshaft that came with my block. It checked out as perfect and utizing it made this more easily duplicable.
