Who knows about Galant VR-4's?
I am considering buying one. They don't seem to be a big headache like 1 and 2g DSM's. Theyre fast with little money and cheap to pick up but still have a cool factor because they are rare.
Could someone tell me what I am getting myself into? I can handle small quirks but for the most part this is going to be a daily for me.

Automatic Transmission Fluid (GT-R specific) lists for $114.98 per quart. That's not a typo-- maybe an accounting error on Nissan's side, but not a typo. Forget Cristal we're going to start seeing hip-hop videos with rappers pouring this stuff on the ground while throwing dollars in the air. Don't worry, though, we didn't pay that. We got a deal; only $84.24 each. What a bargain.

I was thinkin of selling my talon shell and possibly picking up a gvr4 shell. I was told by xspsi4 on here that it would be a huge mistake. He said the vr4's are even more junk than tryint to deal with a beat up 1g. He had one that was very very clean and he said it was hell getting it to that condition.
If your gonna go with a dsm and want cheap, just pick up a 1g. If you have a little bit more money, grab a 2g.

DSM's were built in Normal, IL with less quality control.
GVR4's were built as whole cars in Japan and shipped over so their quality is better.
GVR4 was the best quality Mitsubishi built before the Evo.
