Well I Just Rode In It...
my cousins STI that is...he just bought it today..has 59 miles on it...had 7 miles when he got it. VERY nice car, but i will tell you the stock radio BLOWS!!!!!!! get it~! its non-existent every 10 mintes i ask him to turn the raido on to **** with him lol. but it is prewired already and what not so slappin in a radio will be very easy. hell, if theyd knock off like a grand on the evo and remove the radio it would be great. Now i must ride an evo my god, i need to compare. Im hopin it feels as nice in the evo as it does in the STI

Didn't the wing and hood scoop flapping around in the wind at highway speed bother you?

Every STi owner I've spoken to that's driven an Evo has come away amazed at the steering and how much better our seats are. If an Evo owner spent the money on what an STi owner paid more on the sticker plus what a radio costs, the Evo owner would more than make up the power deficit. In fact, you could go to Dyno Flash and get it down cheap and smoke an STi. Evo's a no-brainer, esp. after I have more exposure/experience with both the STi and the Evo. I still like the STi, but I like the Evo more. Wish I could have both...

easy, stock radio's are pos so why pay when you can get an alpine 9813 for $290. SOA did it for weight savings but for most of us it's a choice we'd rather make.
