Agreed that putting it in a fight with a GTR is somewhat silly, but hey, I did'nt put the comparo together.
Whatever the version of the Viper is....It appears to be brutally fast from this test. Never would have thought that it would take the braking test.

In case you don't know the specifics of a car:
http://www.allpar.com/cars/viper/2008-ACR.html
It's pretty much how any of us would take a car and turn it into a road course/time attack car.
As for why it won the braking contest, 18"x10" fronts with 295/30, and 19"x13" rears with 345/30 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires (THE stickiest 'street' tire you can buy, and pretty much what everyone rolls on at the Nurburgring), and 14" brakes front AND rear.... yeah, the car will stop pretty fast.

Yeah the things a beast...I think we're both trying to say the same thing... I was just trying to say that 'cause a car aint street friendly may be the reason you have the most fun in it.

Well we saw how benchmark test in time against the ZR1 went. I hope the V-Spec doesn't disappoint .

Nissan simply sent out some ringers to have tested............amd bump their hype for the car.
No biggie.
Once people get around the said to be very very tuff ecu ,,, the gt-r will be the monster it should.....
Minus the every so soft and fluffy warrenty.........LOLOLOLOL
kinda reminds me of my evo days and worries.

And my money is one Carlos having a GT-R in his garage by April 2009, or sooner.

I would take the Porsche first, then it would be a hard decision between the GTR and Z06. I would more than likely rock a Z06 first cause the market is better and proven in comparison.
Vipers do absolutely nothing for me, especially the ACR version. I would take an Evo over a Viper any day of the week.
