For all those who jumped into the 335 coupe.................... they should have waited. BMW is coming out with a 335Xi coupe! I'm sure Vishnu is all over this.

I bet it's going to be slower than the RWD version, because it's going to be heavier with it's AWD system. There is probably going to be less WHP, because of more drive train power loss.
Right off the bat let me say that I fully understand that the evo and the 335xi are two completely different vehicles, but nonetheless the comparison is interesting. I just priced out a 335xi on bmwusa.com, and it came in a little over $43k. I think the evo X with a manual will hover around 31k, and I wouldn't be surprised if an evo X with the SST transmission comes in a little over $35k. To think that the price spread between a 335xi and an evo X is only $8k is interesting. The evo X will still be a great car for the money, but I wonder if some potential evo buyers will make the stretch to the 335xi sedan? A twin turbo six with awd and a manual in a "mature" car is tempting. At a minimum the S4 is done. The S4 is showing it's age, and it's slow. A well-informed shopper should be able to walk into an Audi dealership and get atleast 12-13% off sticker no problem.

Wrong...
"The BMW 335xi is the first BMW coupe that will have the xDrive all-wheel drive. The availability of the xDrive will significantly increase the appeal of the 335i Coupe to customer who want all-weather capability.
The 335xi coupe will be powered by a 300 horsepower, 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline 6-cylinder engine, that provides an impressive 0-60 time of 5.2 seconds on manual transmission and 5.3 seconds automatic, that’s 0.1 seconds and 0.2 seconds faster than the 335i coupe.

the AWD makes the 335xi almost if not just as heavy as the 335i convertible.
as well AWD does have more drivetrain loss.
the numbers you quoted are acceleration times from a standing start...and i assume those figures are conservative since the 335i has obtained 4.8 sec. for 0-60mph.
335i vs. 335xi from a stop, the 335i will be in front after 60mph and pulling away.
can't beat physics. 335xi has more weight and less power to the wheels.

Dude, you are hilarious. Where have you been? in the caves of Afghanistan?
I am not resting credit, you are correct about your statement, I am just saying that this news(not so new) have been circulating for a few weeks()couple of months now).
Back to the subject, yeah, it will be a heck of a car. Go to e90post and find out more about it, there are multiple threads. I almost canceled my order of my car to buy the XI xoupe myself.
