As stated on EvoM's
posting policy, street racing threads are not permitted. Since there seems to be some confusion on what is and isn't allowed, this is intended to clear that up:
Allowed
- Racing at official 1/4 mile tracks and discussion of 1/4 mile times at official tracks.
- Racing on closed course tracks (i.e. Laguna Seca, Road Atlanta, etc) and discussion of relative lap times or trap speeds. Discussion of techniques belongs
here.
Not Allowed
- Drag racing on the street.
- "3-honk" highway racing.
- Video of cars going triple digit speeds on public roads.
As a rule of thumb, if the participants would be arrested if they were caught, the video isn't allowed.
