2005 Subaru WRX STi -- 18,800 miles -- 95% stock

SOLD

I have a 2005 Obsidian Black Pearl Subaru STi for sale with extremely low miles. It's always garaged and in excellent condition.

Aftermarket Modifications:
Apexi Noir exhaust
K&N Typoon intake
Cobb AP v.2 (Stage 1)

Sale Includes:
OEM intake
Cobb AP

Condition:
The exterior paint is immaculate. NO exterior modifications. The Obsidian Black Pearl looks amazing. Absolutely ZERO dents/dings. All badges & spoiler in place. The OEM silver BBS wheels look new. New tires (Kumho Ecsta) have less than 100 miles on them. The interior is clean.

LOW MILES:
18,800 original miles on the original motor/chassis. No motor swaps here!

Title:
I have the clean title in hand, no liens.

Carfax:
Clean carfax (pulled 1/28/14).

Accidents:
NO accidents.

Registration:
California registration paid up until May 2015. Smogged a few days ago so it's ready for sale!

Reason for Sale:
I obviously don't drive it very much so I'd like to see it go to a good home and I could use the money to pay off grad school.

Serous buyers only please. There are plenty of lower priced, higher mileage cars on the market. No test drives without cash/cashier's check in hand.

Need financing?
If you require financing, check out PenFed. They have fairly low rates (currently 2.49%) and you can become eligible for their rates by making a small $10-15 donation.

Sorry, I know this car has less than 20k on the clock... but selling an almost 10 year old car for 30,000 dollars when it cost pretty much that much new? Really? I mean its clean but, you could get a 2010 135 or 335 BMW with warranty on it still for way less than this.

I understand your opinion but seeing as how I have a similar car to what you're describing, I disagree with your comparison. You're comparing two different cars. Someone who is comparing a BMW 335 to an STi is unsure of what they want exactly in a car.

I'd be happy to debate this further with you, but I'd like to keep this thread clear for people interested in this car. Feel free to PM me.

Edit: I just noticed you have a 135.

Sounds right, compared to what an Evo with that mileage would cost. GLWS!

Clean car and low miles for sure I think that if a fair price to ask for a car that holds its value better than Evo's

I thought about getting a 08 STI Hatchback for daily, but after finding an 08 Evo X with less miles for over $8k less than the 08 STI I was eying it was a no comparison for me

I would still like a STI hatchback, but damn they hold their value so well it makes it hard for me to jump into one just yet.

Good luck with your sale man. I wish my Evo would hold its value like your STI

I think it's worth the price he's selling it for. It's the cleanest most unmolested 05 STI i've seen in a while. This is one of those situations where it takes the "right buyer." Someone who isn't just out to save money, but really wants the car and is willing to spend more money for it to be THAT clean.

Idiots don't understand such things. You know, you post a lot in people's threads always having a problem with the price. If you don't like it, move on. It's because of opinionated poverty-minded idiots like yourself that I don't like listing my stuff for sale on this forum, so I use other avenues instead. You'd choke if you knew what I sold some of my cars and parts for.

You cannot post on a public forum and not expect peoples opinions. Im not denying in any way that its one of the cleanest non molested stis that ive ever seen.

Nice clean STI Op. I think people forget the OBO that you listed at the end of your price. GLWS

Side note...this should be in the 'Other Cars Forsale' Thread instead of the Evo forsale thread.

Wow, perfect STi and a great color. I sure hope the new owner takes care of it. As for the price, I think it's fair. This is a version of the STi that is not longer made and to find one in this condition with such low mileage is probably impossible. Same goes with Evo's, if you owned one in this same condition with such low mileage you would be asking for more than book value. Good luck with sale.

This pretty much sums up the reason for my price.

I get emails/PMs all the time with people saying a brand new STi is $30k. That's great...but I specifically didn't buy a new Evo X or the 08+ STi because it's not the same as the pre-'07 body style. Too heavy and too many creature comforts. I have the 335 for that. Good luck finding a pre-'07 of either model with under 20k miles. Most of the ones I've seen have a chassis with 50k+ miles and a new engine.

Anyway, as someone else pointed out, my price is OBO so I will entertain reasonable offers.
