Has anyone ever made an apple pie with Pacific Rose apples? I bet that would be pretty awesome.

No I haven't used Pacific Rose apples nor have I heard of them. I've also been interested in using Grapples for an apple pie.

Pacific Rose are probably the best tasting apples I have ever had. Also just as (if not more so) crisp as a granny smith, so they should hold up well during baking.
I dont know about the grapples. They are just Gala apples with grape flavor on them. They are not worth the 400% increase in price as a normal Gala.

I thought they were an actual hybrid. I never really looked into them. Tasty though.

Honeycrisp apples = best apples ever.
They'd be too sweet to make pie with, though.

Fresh parmesan = oxymoron.
It's an aged cheese.

Honeycrisp are good too. I would suggest a Fuji apple if you like the honeycrisp.
