^ I agree too, but when I need energy I'd rather drink a concentrated sugar free Red Bull rather than coffee, which has cream and lots of sugar (to make it taste good for me). The cream and sugar work against the caffeine boost.

How about getting some whole grains and complex carbs rather than drinking bottles of sugar and caffeine.

I used to be a health freak in my junior year of high school. 11 small meals a day comprised of complex carbs and proteins to increase my metabolic rate and support muscle growth. Now I'm 20 and I work 45 hours a week and go to school full time. I do not even have the time nor the energy to work out anymore, let alone moniter my diet as I would like to. After working the lunch shift, going to class, then immediately coming back to work with no breaks in between, I need a boost of energy to accomodate my customers, so energy drinks are my cheat.

Your lifestyle choices are going to hurt you in the long run. Right now you're fairly young, but it's going to start catching up to you.

To bad costco only sells rockstar and monster, now I must find a new way to buy energy drinks by the case.
