people buy w.e they see and like, kind of keeps replicas also in business. Rotas have to thank every pricey wheel out there because thankx to them Rotas make plenty of $$$. I see if u are into car shows then ok buy some bling but a 4k exhaust haha F that.

As some had already pointed out, it just simply depends on how YOU feel about your car and what YOU want to put into it. Doesn't matter if it's a $500 ARC item or a $50 used bov. If that is what YOU want and can afford, then carry on...no one in this forum, or anywhere else for that matter, can tell you what you can and can't do with your money. You earned it, therefore, you spend it the way you see fit. I myself cannot justify buying something like a $400+ ARC intake as someone said earlier they purchased, but it's their money....and as long as it's not mine..LOL All my mod ideas/wishes/dreams will eventually come, but my funds come at a price, therefore I am what some of you might term as being, "frugal"....peace!

As mentioned several times, I only have 1 arc part on my car, but I didn't get it because I was looking for an arc part. I got it because I was looking for a type of part and it just so happened I like arc the best.

If it doesn't make your car go faster, its not worth it.

Probably the same reason why rappers like Hennesy. 'Cuz it's expensive (Hennesy is fing disgusting). I'm pretty sure if Arc cost a 1/4 of what it does, there would be about 1/4 of the people buying it. It's about the balla status.

Or strictly for show, which function follows form.

Ya I Know no one is forcing me. I just wanted to know if other people out there felt some of these parts are a rip off. So ya you make 0 sense.

People buy what ever they want and I respect that, thread was made to get different point of views.

i am not sure about the number that it produces but the Induction Box seems to be a pretty good product and it's at a Okay range when you compare to other intakes like HKS, but most of the other ARC product is waaay overpriced in my opinion. But again you guys balance your checking account not me

To all you people defending ARC customers... you're missing the point of the thread. Yea, we get it... it's your car, it's your money, and you will buy what you want. Good for you.

The OP is simply curious if the majority of people feel that a $4000 exhaust or $130 oil cap is completely ridiculous.

It's almost a rhetorical question... like asking, "Who would ever marry that ugly *****?" The responses expected are "Oh man, you're right! She's nasty!" ... or ... "I dunno, I could see banging that if I was drunk enough."

It's not in the spirit of the discussion to bump in and say, "Well guys, you know, true beauty is within. And some guys really don't care about looks. You should really be more considerate of people's feelings, I'm sure she's very happy with her husband."

The only ARC part I will be rocking on my car is the sweet shift knob. Other than that, meh.
