For those not feeling the Recession just wait, the ripple is going around the world now..
Iceland is insolvent, Pakistan is facing bankruptcy. EU central bankers hold emergency meetings to shore up their financial institutions. The Russian market is tumbling forcing them to halt trading. South Korea calls for emergency meetings with China and Japan.
WorldWide recession here we come!

I'm feeling it big time. I work on cars daily. People lose there jobs, don't/can't spend money, saving money, gas prices up less driving, refuse to spend money to fix there cars etc... if I don't have a car to service or work on, I don't get a paycheck.

definitely feeling it i work for my family owned flower shop and yea BIG time cutbacks. some months i don't get a check. wife works for her dad who is in custom home construction and the folks homes he does don't feel any what we are going through so business is booming for him. wife also just started her own hair business so alot of money out of pocket. Gas is killer and grocers are killing us i have two kids and one is still in diapers so YUCK. i am going to school full time too so thats why i cant get a second job. its picking up oddly enough so thats always a good sign

im kinda feeling it, i use to make enough to live very nicely, buy almost anything i wanted.
but now i work less hours because im a full time student, and i still owe money on the car i just bought this year.
so pretty much, my savings hasnt changed and im living pretty close to pay check to pay check.

Worldwide recession is nothing new. Happens seemingy every 10 years or so. 50's, 80's,90's. Massive recession, the likes of which caused the Great Depression, are highly unlikely to happen, becuase our Federal Reserve, and all the central banks are doing a pretty ok job in triaging things.
The world has to deleverage. Its a given. It will hurt. We will be better for it in the long run. Think of it has paying off all the bad debt you have in your personal life
