diesel, ur right, its almost common sense - you dont buy a first time driver an expensive/ performance/ radical/ valuable car. i dont understand y people like to harp on that point (its common sense and redundant and common sense and redundat), and then they like to go off on different tangents about parents, and income, and "is an *******", he say she say blah blah. like you said, it doesnt say anything about the age or experience the driver had that crashed this car.......

ADM, DIESEL. When you mature a little more, you will realize that because parents do something that makes their little angel happy (but probably more importantly to them, let's them show what great material things they were able to give because of their financial standing) does not mean it was the best thing for them. Most adults realize that when they were younger they made a lot of reckless mistakes, (as children have done and will do for centuries) and it took time to not only develope individual driving skill and healthy fear mixed with respect, but also a general ability to handle temptations and make better decisions in a variety of lifes situations. Now, being older, and wiser, as you may someday be, adults realize that kids need to learn the value of the dollar outside the limits of their gated community, and be given the chance to earn greater levels of responsibilty. Earning something yourself, breeds the ability to continue to provide for ones self, immediate gratification of wants, does not. Hopefully you will live long enough to realize that, and look back and say, "I can't believe my parents gave me that car, if they only knew what I did with it. What were they thinking?"
Besides, if they really loved you, they would have bought the STi, but now you have something to attain to.

I dunno...my insurance is actually about 200 bucks less for the EVO every 6 months, than the Spyder GST
But my driving record is finally clean for the first time in CT as of last month. That may have something to do with it.
