I least you made an effort. Hopefully they wont get like that until after I make tech.
**** I have friends who are almost genuises but they get lazy and dont study. When they get around to studying, pretty much guaranteed they will make it. The ones to watch out for are the ones that make rank but have no f ucking clue about their jobs but they'll put that rank out in your face just because.

Good luck, infantry is not easy and not a very good MOS to get into. You still have time to back out and renegotiate to go in another MOS.

Yes I think we have all seen them, the fast burners! I have an MSgt with ten years in. He’s a good guy but doesn’t have the experience to go with it. Makes things interesting sometimes. Just makes me jealous, one of the draw backs in the Air Force is that if you don’t test well it makes life difficult. I could be the best in the world at my job but that’s not going to get me promoted. Besides that the Air Force is a great place to work.

I guarantee with you being the best at your job will garner much more respect for who you are as a person and not just respect for rank.

You will never regret serving in the armed forces. Even if you "hate it" when you are in, you will have a lasting sense of pride the rest of your life. That's not to mention the many doors that will be opened to you as a military person. My last 2 jobs were a breeze to get after I mentioned my naval history.
