Dan, the AEM kit comes with 125cc, 330cc, and 550cc. So the biggest is an M5ish... AEM is weak!
LOL - that is my problem! DOH! Oh well, planning on going with less meth anyway.

*edit - I'm looking forward to getting that open dump eventually. I love how your car holds boost so well. BTW - I should get a ride to hear how loud it actually is in the car. It really isn't that bad on the outside, I mean most of these cars are completely obnoxious at WOT regardless.

Oh man, I was waiting with baited breath! I do have to get Eric some parts but I plan on seeing him that Saturday and I'm guessing you wouldn't see him anyway between Wed/Sat.

I'm always down for hanging, though.

Are you kidding? Mikey wouldn't run Buschur if it was coated in gold and given to him for free! hahaha, j/k!

*edit - Mikey is also running the magician's touch on the o2. Check out his boost "curve," or lack thereof!

What happens if the mani doesn't get there in time? Kinda pushing it tight but hopefully everything works out for you.

Do you know if Aaron will be there on Friday? If not, you'll be in the good hands of Lucas of course. Are you planning on going MAFless? That is the beauty of running SD - unblock yourself up front!

I would personally go SD and Aaron doesn't work on Fridays but Lucas is a great tuner as well.

^yep, that is why I was asking about Friday. Surging in 3rd+? Does it happen at a specific boost? In 6th I hit a surging issue at ~20psi but I'm pretty sure it is the BOV.

I am running 2 springs stiffer than I should need to, per TiAL's guide. I've been trying to find one on the cheap/trade but have been unsuccessful and need to just get it retail. Also, I worry that if I go too soft of a spring I'll have the opposite effect and create a leak at the BOV. Been dragging my feet cause it is really only 6th at ~20psi.

O it is def surge and it happens at WOT in 3rd, 4th, and 5th. It is so ****ing bad that it hurts your neck. I was also tuning at 35psi, prob 560+hp. It felt great if I rolled into it in 2nd-5th but it doesn't like to start in 3rd!

First off the BOOMBA... is a joke. From what I have seen you will not gain any hp unless you are running a 3in UICP. imo the best tb is the 65mm because that is the same size as most UICP 2.5".

I dunno on the boomba, I purchased one. I don't have comparisons, but I feel I doing well on the English dyno with 28.5 psi. and still lot more there...

Dan and I have pretty much the same mods besides the TB. the little HP gain I have has to be the TB, so it's doing something...? I vote boomba. lol

I get surging with my red in 4th even at only 25 psi. It's really annoying. I have the stock compressor housing though and am hoping that swapping to the 80mm will cure the issue.

Are you going to do the swap at home? FP recommended sending mine in and having them do it (no extra charge).

I also had a HFC and I think a smaller meth jet (AEM "big" jet, haha!). But you are running about 2psi less or so.

If we're able to make it down to the Drift Office before the next upgrade, I'll dyno again just to see what gain I get with the straight pipe now. Should be interesting.

Ya I was planning on doing it myself... I guess I have to call Robert now and ask him If he has to do it! He didn't say anything to me about it last week.
