Awesome build up and fabrication. Those turrets look pretty beefy, are those 1/8"? Do you know Adam Crane or John Vanlandingham? I'll be honest I mainly looked at all the pictures, did you bend the cage yourself or have the bent pieces done somewhere?

No updates yet... school and all... but it's getting closer to update time!
The turrets are 3/16... way over kill... but they were free. I know Adam, he's a pretty good buddy of mine, and yes, unfortunently I know John as well. He built my suspension. The cage I bent and welded myself. Thanks for the good words!

I used to live about a block away from Adam in Bellingham, his car is awesome. He gave me a ride in it on some Mt. Baker logging roads, holy crap I didn't think 100hp could be so awesome/scary. John's a really good guy if you can stand to talk for a few hours, and wait a year for anything you buy from him :-P. I'm sure you'll like your suspension.
Where are you going to school at? Would you be interested in bending a main hoop and front down bars for a car of mine?

John is a good guy until he realizes you think for yourself and wont blindly follow his "advice." He is a pain in the ass to deal with, cant handle his own money- let alone any payments you give him, and when he decides you are no longer worthy, will slander you beyond anything you've EVER seen. If you want proof, just go look on Rally Anarchy. He is a joke, and frankly, I will NEVER recommend him to anyone, ever again. It is not worth funding him.
The springs are miles stiff says anyone who's ever rallied a corolla, and he didnt listen to me (after all, I was new at rally, obviously I dont know what's where on a car I've worked on for years...) and welded his bolt hole collar for the lower knuckle in the wrong place, causing me to no longer be able to use a front sway bar. One lower also seems to have an extra bit of camber, because john doesn't use a jig.
At least they should be bullet proof... and springs are cheap. And they're revalvable should that be a problem too.
But thats all I'm saying on him, this thread isnt about him, thats what Rally Anarchy is for. It's practically his church over there.
I'm going to Cascadia, at the moment, and no, sorry, I borrowed a friends bender. Try Doug Chase at Chase Race (google it, I think its chaserace.com, though), Dave Clark Motorsports, or Cascade Auto Tuning (again, google them).

That sucks ass man, sorry to hear that. I know you're not alone in that situation though. Thanks for the recommendations for cage places.
