i want to lower my pos a little...better with lowering springs or coilovers?

Lowering springs alter the natural geometry and promote bind. Lowering SPINDLES are better for a straight lower. Coilovers are better to lower, alter geometry and control bind.

but as I said, lowering spindles are the best.

BTW - How's the truck?

Are you looking for on track performance or just the look?

Performance> Coilovers and a decent set at that, I have EnduraTech coils and they were reasonably cheap but have excellent reviews. I have yet to track them though.

Looks> Springs are much cheaper. Swifts or GTWorx are the best in terms of lowering and performance, but if you are looking for just a slammed ride, the geometry will be compromised and the car will perform worse than stock. You will also more quickly blow your struts on springs that lower more than about an inch.

You do not plan on keep the car for a long period of time correct? If so just go with springs. they are much cheaper.

haha the truck is great now. it's all fixed, definitely has the power now that it should be having. stupid turbo diesel hah. :P



yeah, i'm not keeping the car for a long period of time now. but, i'd still rather lower it for now. i hate looking at the HUGEEEE gap, kind of annoys me haha.
so i'll probably just get some springs then. that will satisfy me for now until i get my evo.
