How about this

http://www.proformanceracingschool.com/

Did the school about a year and a half ago or so. Def. recommend it. I will be having my girlfirend take it this summer in my evo!
They do open lap days too. Check em out.

They have lots of days in their schedule. If you let me know in advance if you are doing either an open day or even a class, I might show up and do either all day laping with you or half day lapping!

I'll be at a few of the Alfa events and maybe one or two of the BMW events. The performance driving school is really fun and they allow the more experience drivers to race with the instructors at the end of the day. Good track time for only $100.

So, I've never driven in any of these before, but I would like to start. What is the easiest, and hopefully cheapest way, to get the requirements so I can do lapping days. Does the team continental training day count towards the others as far as having done performance driving?

Once you build up a resume of experience at the track you can usually jump from club-to-club pretty easily. Worst-case is you run in one of the "lower" groups your first few times with a new club.

I am hoping to schedule something to the effect of:

Alfa March 29th
Alfa May 22nd
BMW July 10th (not sure on this one yet)
Alfa Aug 27th
Alfa Oct. 15

Probably 3-5 autoX events in between if I have time and maybe something at PIR or ORP at the of end the year.
