HUGE congratulations to one of our California dealers, James Reese of Reese Tuning for just taking the Redline Time Attack Street Class National Championship with his 2005 EVO RS.
The Redline Time Attack basic rules for street class are:
Must retain all factory glass, full interior in the front area ( front seats, dash, center console,heater core,door cards, carpet.) Rear seats may be removed.
Must have a cat in the exhaust system and must be completely under the body of the car.
255 max width on the street awd class. With a treadwear of a minimum of 140. Can't run leaded fuels. Car must retain factory body panels. Carbon hoods and trunks are permitted.

Since James has opened his shop he has used mostly Buschur Racing parts in the build of his EVO. It's been a long road with quite a few changes to get the car to it's current National Championship status. He started out with a stock block FS635 and bent a stock rod. We then built him a Stage 3 2 liter shortblock. After running the FS635 for a bit longer James decided he wanted to step up the the HTA82. The combination of the HTA82 along with the BR 2 liter made 689hp on Reese Tuning MD500 AWD dyno.
The EVO is still street driven when it isn't on the track winning races. James says, "The car wouldn't be what it is today without the ****en BR2.0L. The help of jarrod and nick. The BR parts. Most of all your cranky ass!! I will continue to use your parts as long as the car is in my garage."
This entire season was run on the same 2 liter with zero technical problems and carried the car through the last race which clinched the championship.
Also a big congratulations to the driver, JEREMY TOYE, without him the championship would not have possible.
