AMS Sponsored #58 SCCA T2 Evo On Pole @ Roebling Road
Completed Quals today for the Saturday National race @ Roebling Road in Georgia. Even though it was hard to get a clean lap I was able to put the #58 Evo on the T2 pole with a 1:22.722. If there are any locals that want to come out and watch the race I'm in Group 5 which will be a late afternoon race, in the scorching heat again
Some pictures of our deluxe accomodations and a shameless plug for Energy Drink Sponsorship

Ya seriously - coleman propane, racer tape, Degree sport, the guy who invented diamond plate, and a flare to blow it all up
RRR is hella fun though, evo's do well there. I usually keep it in third on 4/5/6, on the stock turbo it has plenty of torque to make the lap, I bested 1.5 seconds doing that. Coming off onto the straight I do about 118 and try to keep that consistant to gauge my previous corners. Make sure though, though you know by now, to make the front left a few psi lower then the other tires Knock em dead man, he who's front left lasts the longest wins at that track.

Balrok, Thanks for the info. Since we run the OEM turbo, but with a 41mm (~13%) restrictor we're likely setup a bit differently. I couldn't run 3rd through 4 as I ran outta gear with my line so 4th was the gear of choice until turn 6. I had used the test day to figure out tire pressures and the left front was definitely the lowest starting pressure of them all. I ran in to traffic issues on the first race, but was able to redeem myself in the 2nd qualification session running a 1:20.616 even though the temp and humidity were both crazy high. So a little more than 2 secs a lap faster than the 1st qual on Friday.
The 2nd race I was able to maintain my lead throughout the race and bring home another victory for AMS!

Err I meant 4th been awhile since I've been there I also went to 3rd on turn 6 then it was high gear from that point out. What suspension/pads are you running?

Brake pads are CARBOTECH XP12s and suspension is JRZ with Hyperco 500# Front, 700# Rear ... We are limited to what SCCA allows in an attempt to even the playing field.
